Evening Light - Waterton Lake 24" x 36" Acrylic on Canvas 2008 ($625) Waterton Lakes National Park was our discovery of the summer of 2007. What a beautiful place. This lake is, I believe, correctly called Upper Waterton Lake. It is the largest of the Lakes. It's southern end is in Glacier National Park in Montana. This viewpoint is from The Prince Edward Hotel, an elegant old wooden structure open only in the summer. The lake is deep, usually windy and wavey, but not on this splendid evening.
