Fly Fishing

"Fly Fishing" 24" x 36" 2010 Acrylic on Canvas 2010 ($650) A solitary fly fisher tries his luck on the Ottauquechee River, at the base of the Quechee Gorge in Quechee State Park, Vermont. The water in the foreground is dead still casting the striking perfect mirror image of the dead fall and the trees beyond. Its a lovely place to visit, not far from the picturesque town of Woodstock. The Ottaquechee River is spanned by several covered bridges as it makes it way to the Connecticut River dividing Vermont from New Hampshire, and from thence it flows to the Atlantic Ocean.
