Red Rundle

Red Rundle 22" x 30" 2005 SOLD Mount Rundle is my favourite mountain. Not as majestic as Robson or Assiniboine, or as picturesque as Castle, Rundle is in my view, the most characterful in any weather, in any season or at any time of day. Here it is evening. Yes, I have heightened the colours, but only to convey the mood of a sun bathed Rundle in the evening. Rundle forms a spine that runs from the Banff Springs Hotel golf course to the Nordic Ski Centre in Canmore, about 17kms from end to end. This prospect is from Tunnel Mountain, across the Bow River from Rundle, near the Hoodoos.
