Two Against the Wind - Pine Pass 24" x 36" Acrylic on Canvas 2006 SOLD The Pine Pass is a couple of hours north of Prince George on the way to Grande Prairie, AB. It is also the location of the Powder King ski hill. One thing about a ski hill at altitude (993 m.), one is usually guaranteed snow, lots of it. The two trees pictured here, valiant against lots of wind, are on the grounds of Powder King. I loved the image. The sunshine was scarce, attacking only the mountain across the Pass.
