Brokeback Country

Brokeback Country 24" x 36" Acrylic on Canvas 2008 (Charitable Donation) You may recall the somewhat contoversial movie "Brokeback Mountain" of a couple of years ago. It featured stunning scenery, supposedly in Montana. In fact, it was filmed in the Pincher Creek area of Alberta. This scene lies between Pincher Creek and Waterton Lakes National Park. A simple painting but very evocative of this magnificent part of the country.
